Do you love horses? Do you love kids? If yes, we might have an amazing opportunity for you! Go With It Farm, based in the Atlanta area, has a very active lesson program and a highly competitive show program. We’re currently looking for some exceptional people to excel in the following positions:

Live-in Caretaker (Huntcliff Location - Sandy Springs, GA)

We are seeking a live-in caretaker for 25-30 horses. We are a motivated team that depends on developing each others' strengths to provide the best possible care for our horses. To be successful you must be reliable, efficient, eager to learn, and be adaptable to the daily changes that come with a busy barn environment.  

In exchange for accommodations in a recently renovated, charming, and cozy 2-story/1 bed/1 bath apartment attached to the barn, responsibilities include performing daily night checks (hay/water/blanketing/emergency care, etc.), property upkeep (fence maintenance/mowing/arena upkeep, etc.), and chores a minimum of 4 days (or 8 shifts) per week.

We pay a stipend for daily chores per day/shift (the amount is based on your experience) and will include, but is not limited to, feeding, watering, turn-in and out, stalls, and providing some horse care. Morning chores start promptly at 7 a.m. and afternoon chores should be completed by 4 p.m., with a break in the middle of the day. There are 28 stalls on the property, horses primarily live in small group turnout. Additional chore shifts are available (4 days a week is just the minimum for the live-in position).  

There is a working interview required which includes a mandatory 30-day trial period prior to moving onto the property.

Beginner Lesson Instructor (One for our Johns Creek and one for our Huntcliff location)

Are you an upbeat, energetic, and patient individual? If yes, you might be perfect to teach students the basics of riding and eventing at our active evening barn. Ideally, you have good fundamentals in the English riding discipline, some teaching experience, and the desire to be a great role model to kids. You must be able to effectively communicate with parents and peers.

GWIF places a big emphasis on, and takes great pride in, teaching students all aspects of horsemanship. Beginner Instructors must be able to coach the basics of horse care, grooming, tacking, and riding to new riders of all ages. You must be comfortable coaching private lessons for kids ages 3-5, and small 1 hour group lessons of 2-6 students for older riders, teaching the basics from steering in the walk to cantering 18-in. jumps.

You will be competitively paid per lesson and make your own hours. Peak coaching hours are 4:30pm to 7:30pm Monday through Thursday, however there is the flexibility to build your own schedule! There is unlimited growth potential for the motivated candidate to take on weekend coaching, holiday camps, summer camps, show grooming/coaching, etc.

Stablehands/Grooms/Daily Shift Workers (One for our Johns Creek and one for our Huntcliff location)

If you're a fun and independent individual, we have an amazing opportunity for you!

Open positions are available for part time staff to assist in general daily horsecare at a 25-30 horse lesson and showing barn. Daily shifts of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. (or work if you're extra motivated you can do double shift from 7a.m. to 6 p.m.). You must be willing to work 5 shifts per week, with one shift being at the alternate campus. Availability for some weekends is also required.  You must be physically capable of lifting 60+ pounds multiple times on a daily basis and you must have prior experience with horses.

Core duties include basic chores (feeding, watering, haying, cleaning stalls, sweeping, blowing, barn organization, blanketing, etc.), horse care (grooming, tacking, hand walking, wound care, therapeutic treatments, wrapping, etc.). There's great opportunity for advancement based on expertise and experience for the right individual which includes riding (fitness walking, starting horses, tuning-up school horses, fitness training event horses, ground work), teaching beginner lessons (small children, 30 minute private lessons), assisting teaching lessons (helping riders tack/untack, catch horses, set jump courses, set poles, arena traffic directing), etc.

Starting pay is $10 to $12/hour based on experience (and lessons can be included for the right individual).
